The station is USC&GS disk stamped "C", set near the top of a bedrock outcropping that forms the north side of the southeastern end of the stream channel, SE of the Tide Mill Rd bridge (outcrop becomes an islet at extreme high water); 78.15 m (256.4 ft) SE of the centerline of Tide Mill Rd, 37.66 m (123.6 ft) ESE of bench mark 841 0864 B, and 3.97 m (13.0 ft) north of the highest point of the outcrop.
